Jazmen Yoder

Jazmen Yoder is the founder of Northwest Natura, an outdoor education company that offers nature-based workshops and classes designed for adults. She specializes in teaching a range of outdoor skills including plant and mushroom identification, wildcrafting, foraging, and survival skills. With a strong background in evolution, ecology, and organismal biology, she leads immersive classes through which she is able transform complex concepts into accessible and engaging learning experiences. 

Jazmen’s hands-on approach enables students to explore the intricacies of human connections with nature, develop a sense of place here in the Salish Sea Bioregion, and deepen their understanding about nature through unique courses offered each weekend, year-round. Jazmen’s enthusiasm for the natural world inspires her students to appreciate nature’s beauty and develop practical skills that foster creativity and self-empowerment.

Jazmen resides in Bellingham, WA with her husband Jeff and their new kitten, Sabbath.
