Ed Grumbine
Ed Grumbine has shared his love and knowledge of natural history with many people over multiple decades--he taught his first seminar in the North Cascades in 1979.
Ed first connected with nature through plants, but birds, rocks, bugs and more soon followed. He is also interested in how people work to protect nature; he has been a backcountry ranger in North Cascades and Olympic Parks and is an expert on US land management. From 2010-2014, he lived in China doing research on how US parks might influence national park design in Asia.
Ed is the author of many scientific papers and books, but he is most excited about being on the trail with folks looking to learn more about this beautiful world.
