Katherine Glew
Katherine Glew is a lichenologist with a PhD in botany. She has studied lichens for over 40 years in forest, alpine and island ecosystems and is the Associate Curator of Lichens at the University of Washington Herbarium. Katherine's research includes lichen associations with plants in landscape ecology and as led her to explore lichens in Norway, the Russian Far East, Japan and Europe. For over 40 years, Katherine taught in the public school systems and at the college level at the University of Washington and University of Puget Sound.
