Brian Kerston

Brian Kertson is a Senior Wildlife Research Scientist with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, where he conducts long-term, field-based research on Washington’s terrestrial carnivores. His work focuses on behavioral, spatial, and population ecology, with an emphasis on conservation, management, and human–wildlife interactions. A native Washingtonian, Brian has spent much of his life exploring and studying the ecosystems of the Cascade Mountains.
