For 40 years, North Cascades Institute has been rooted in place—offering small-group, place-based learning experiences that connect people to the natural and cultural history of the North Cascades. Guided by expert naturalists and educators, these experiences have helped generations deepen their understanding of this landscape and their relationship to it.

Today, we continue that tradition through online interactive classes, Learning Center programs, and small-group Field Excursions across the region. From the east side to the west side to the Salish Sea, our outdoor classroom is vast—and we invite you to be part of it.
