Seattle Children's Hospital Getaway: May 29-31, 2026
Event Details
Join fellow Seattle Children's Hospital patients, families, caregivers, staff & employees at the beautiful North Cascades Environmental Learning Center for a 3-day, 2-night family camp! This program is being offered at approximately 50% off of our normal family retreat pricing so that this gathering is widely accessible to Seattle Children's Hospital kids and their families.
This mountain getaway will be hosted by the North Cascades Institute - a nationally-recognized education nonprofit organization that empowers people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to explore, enjoy and learn about the mountains, rivers, forests, people and wildlife of the Pacific Northwest—so all will care for and protect this special place.
Nestled on the wooded shores of Diablo Lake, the facility offers the perfect blend of comfort and adventure, with inviting ADA-accessible lodges and lounges, a cozy library, lakeside dining hall serving wholesome freshly prepared meals, outdoor gathering spaces, and scenic trails for everyone to explore.
Each day, outdoor educators will lead hands-on activities and adventures, tailored to our groups' interests and the season. From sensory explorations of local species and ecosystems to creative crafts and outdoor games, there’s always something exciting to discover in the great outdoors.
