North Cascades Institute offers a rich diversity of experiences designed to get you outside in locations throughout northwest Washington State: the Learning Center on Diablo Lake in North Cascades National Park, Bellingham, Seattle, the Methow and Skagit Valleys and beyond! Whether you sign up for a day-long walking tour of Seattle's geology, a weekend at the Learning Center or a multi-day adventure in the North Cascades, you'll expand your appreciation of these special places. Our current offerings include:

		2010 Learning Center programs and Field Excursions Learn the natural and cultural history of our region. There are currently 14 programs open for registration.
		Diablo Downtime Spend a relaxing summer weekend full of hiking, canoeing, yoga and slow food at the Learning Center.
		Sourdough Speaker Series Join us for a one-night event at the Learning Center. There are currently 3 upcoming speakers.
		Base Camp Flexible overnight learning adventures in the North Cascades.
		Free Learning Center Day Trips Join us for free adventures in the North Cascades. Choose from 3 weekend dates this summer.
		Stewardship Educate visitors and help restore and protect local ecosystems.
