Welcome Cascadia Daily Fans!
You're invited for an afternoon, overnight, or weekend stay in one of dozens of programs designed to get you out in nature, exploring and connecting with the wild wonders of our region.
From the North Cascades to the Skagit and Methow Valleys, the Salish Sea and even online wherever you are, we offer exciting ways for you to learn about the natural and cultural resources of the area, in small groups led by professional instructors and naturalists.
Most programs take place at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center, a hub of discovery and adventure on Diablo Lake in North Cascades National Park—a 1.5 hour drive from Burlington, Washington on scenic State Route 20.
Field Excursions & Online Classes
We offer dozens of learning opportunities, including in-person day and weekend classes, as well as online classes, on a range of engaging topics—birding, photography, geology, wildlife tracking, journaling, mushrooms and more!
Base Camp Learning & Lodging
Base Camp stays offer you the opportunity to explore and learn about the natural and cultural history of the North Cascades while enjoying the comforts of our campus—one of only a handful of overnight venues inside North Cascades National Park! Each night includes lodging, three delicious meals, and learning explorations.
Family Getaways
Join a summer Family Getaway and connect with your family—and nature, too—on the forested shores of Diablo Lake. We provide accommodations, delicious meals and a wide variety of engaging, hands-on activities like canoeing, hiking, outdoor games and nature crafts by day, stargazing and nocturnal explorations at night.
