Weekend for All 2026
Event Details
Join us for the third annual Weekend for All—an opportunity to gather, rest, and reconnect in the beauty of North Cascades National Park.
Hosted at the North Cascades Environmental Learning Center on the shores of Diablo Lake, this 3-day, 2-night program invites people of color and partner organizations to come together in a welcoming, relaxed outdoor setting. Over the course of the weekend, participants can explore the landscape, build community, and share space for joy, reflection, and connection.

At North Cascades Institute, we believe time in nature supports well-being and strengthens community. We also recognize that not everyone has had equal access to outdoor spaces or felt a sense of belonging in them. Weekend for All creates space for participants to gather in community, spend time outdoors, and engage in conversations grounded in care, connection, and shared experience.
Programming is flexible and participant-driven, with a range of optional activities led by experienced instructors. These may include guided hikes, forest exploration, birding, art in nature, environmental learning, and canoe trips on Diablo Lake. Participants are welcome to join as much or as little as they like, creating a weekend that meets their needs.

Whether you’re looking to spend time outdoors, connect with others, or simply rest in a beautiful place, Weekend for All offers a meaningful opportunity to be in community in the North Cascades.
