This year marks 50 years since the formation of the North Cascades National Park Service Complex, a sprawling reserve that includes North Cascades National Park and Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas. So many people are woven into the story of protecting this wild, rugged and beautiful place. We celebrate the diverse community of people who have cared for and loved this place, and look ahead to advocating for the park and ecosystem and introducing people to its natural wonders over the next 50 years!
