The Salish Sea is teeming with seabirds migrating along the Pacific Flyway. Come aboard the Snow Goose, a comfortable 65-foot vessel captained by Dan Liden, and join us in exploring the waters of Bellingham Bay, Lummi Island, and the surrounding areas. We'll search for scoters, loons, murres, auklets, guillemots, cormorants, and a variety of gulls.

Naturalist guide Amanda Colbert will help identify the species we see and share insights into their natural history. This trip runs rain or shine, and birders of all skill levels are welcome!

We’ll meet at Squalicum Harbor in Bellingham at 8:30 a.m. With binoculars and field guides in hand, we’ll set out on our day’s adventure in search of as many avian species as we can find. Participants should bring their own lunches.
