We're so excited to welcome Washington State Poet Laureate Rena Priest back to the Readings Gallery at Village Books in Bellingham for the launch of her latest book!

Entertaining, educational and highly giftable, Northwest Know-How: Beaches showcases more than 30 coastal and island beaches in Washington and Oregon, providing tips for visiting, fun facts, natural history, poetry, and lore. Rena Priest is a local author and member of the Lummi Nation. She currently serves as Washington State Poet Laureate and the 2022 Maxine Cushing Gray Distinguished Writing Fellow. Priest’s nonfiction has appeared in High Country News, YES! Magazine, Seattle Met, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College.
