Phil Higuera

Phil Higuera is an Assistant Professor of Fire Ecology at the University of Idaho, where he studies how climate, vegetation, and wildfire interact and change over decades to thousands of year, and teaches courses in fire ecology and fire behavior. While earning his MS and PhD at the University of Washington, he put down roots in the Cascades through numerous trips on ski and foot.
