Led by professional North Cascades Institute naturalists and National Park rangers, you’ll learn how water and ice have shaped this dramatic and isolated landscape, making it both ideal and challenging for developing a hydroelectric project. You’ll also learn about the natural and cultural history of this unique region, including wildlife, birding, geology, and stories of the 8000 year human history of this area.
