Thomas Wood

thomas_woodFor over thirty years Thomas Wood has been a printer and painter in the Pacific Northwest. He sketches and paints outdoors while camping in forests or sailing on the sound, and prints in his backyard studio in Bellingham. Thomas has been invited to speak or conduct workshops locally at the Whatcom Museum, at Seattleā€™s Gage Academy, and in Italy, at Il Bisonte School of Graphic Arts. Collectors of his work include the New York Public Library, the Philadelphia Art Museum, and the Portland Art Museum; his work is recognized in the publications Contemporary Printmaking in the Northwest, and The Pacific Northwest Landscape: A Painted History.
