David Moskowitz


David Moskowitz is a professional wildlife tracker, photographer and outdoor educator who has studied wildlife and tracking in the Pacific Northwest since 1995. He has contributed his technical expertise to various wildlife studies regionally and in the Canadian and U.S. Rocky mountains, focusing on using tracking and other non-invasive methods to study wildlife ecology and promote conservation. 


David is a project manager for the Cascades Citizen Wildlife Monitoring Project and teaches wildlife tracking at Wilderness Awareness School. He is also the author of Wildlife of the Pacific Northwest: Tracking and Identifying Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Amphibians, and Invertebrates and Wolves in the Land of Salmon.
